Her brothers were Thad, Samuel & Wiley Mansel, sisters, Beulah (Pic) and Margaret (Maggie). She had several half brothers and sisters. Her father married a third time after the death of Laura.
Clara married Newton Jennings, he died in 1944, she never remarried. She visited her children often, and was a jolly, little lady, who loved her family, and really gave her grandchildren a delight when she danced a jig for them.
Clara and Newt lived in Leon County when there children were born, except for a set of twin babies who were born and died 1908 and one son born and died in 1900, that are buried in the Old Alabama Cememtey, near the Alabama Crossing at Porter Springs.
