Rogers – April 26, 2010 – Patty Ann Huff, 77, of 9484 SR 170, died at 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Vista Center, Lisbon of complications of pulmonary fibrosis.

Mrs. Huff was born April 29, 1932 in East Palestine, a daughter of Harry and Agnes J. Knight Crowl and had lived in this area all of her life. Patty was an avid gardener and baker and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She owned and operated a ceramics shop and worked at Bel Terr China and Klare China. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Harold L. Huff, Sr., whom she married June 6, 1948 died January 8, 1986.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Gary) Cottrell of Great Falls, Montana, Catherine Mercer of East Liverpool and Rose Mary (William) Brown of Rogers; two sisters, Alberta Soldo and Charlotte Murphy, both of East Palestine; two brothers, Neil Crowl of Lisbon, and Harry Crowl, Jr. of East Palestine; eight grandchildren, Barbara Cottrell, Greg Huff, Kevin Barnhouse, Tracey Shields, Valerie Huff, Casey Brown, Jesse Mercer, and Diana Brown and ten great grandchildren, Kateland Huff, Amber Huff, Haley Huff, Kinsey Barbato, Michaela Barnhouse, Kendall Barnhouse, Joey Cottrell, Abigail Cottrell, Trey Shields, and Leeann Brown. Patty will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Harold L. Huff, Jr. and David Huff; five sisters, Evelyn Oliver, Thelma Eaton, Madge Stratton, Ruth Mackall, and Jean Gorby; and two brothers, Wilbur Crowl and Robert Crowl.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, with the Reverend Lester Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Thursday.
