HATTIE BERKEY OGLINE-SIPE, biological daughter of David & Catherine KISER-OGLINE that was adopted and lovingly raised by blessed christians & farmers Jermiah and Minerva BERKEY from Jenners. Somerset County, PA.
Hattie was taken in by the Berkey's as a baby less than 1 years old. Sadly, she'd never meet any of his parents family, and her children to Harvey Spory never recognized the OGLINE surname nor any of their mother's natural family because Hattie had been abandoned.
Hattie's mother, Catherine Kiser-Ogline died from child birth complications after her 1901 birth, Placed in foster care, she was fortunate to have been adopted and raised by Jermiah & Minerva Berkey, faithful and loving, caring people as their own daughter as a blessing from god.
Hattie, HARVEY & and all THEIR children wiped out of their minds and lives everything to do with the Ogline name or family. Even when Hattie died, neither her obit nor her death certificate made any reference to Catherine or David Ogline.
Hattie married Harvey S. Spory, s/o Wiolliam & Rebecca CROYLE Spory. The couple would have 8 CHILDREN.
