David. A. Byer, 75, a native of Adams county, died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spangler, Butler, Pa , this morning at 2 o'clock.
He was a son of the late David and Martha (Hartman) Byer. He was in the barbering business in Hanover for 28 years and later at Arendtsville. Shortly after the death of his wife, the former Sarah Bittinger, in April, 1943, he went to make his home with his daughter. Mr. Byer was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Arendtsville.
Surviving; are his daughter, Mrs. Spangler; one brother, Charles. Tampa, Fla., and one grandson.
Funeral services Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Bender funeral home conducted by the Rev. Robert Schiebel.
Interment in Greenmount cemetery, Arendtsville.
