He was employed by General Motors for over 30 years and retired from General Motors Willow Run in 1972.

Visitation was after 7 pm Wednesday 31 Oct 1984 at Brown Funeral Home at 1616 Davison Rd in Flint. Visitation hours for the funeral home were 8 am - 10 pm daily. Funeral services were 1 pm Friday 02 Nov 1984 at Brown Funeral Home with Dr Harold E Garland and Rev Clarence D Kennedy, Brady's brother-in-law, officiating.

Burial was in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery at 2090 Hill Rd in Grand Blanc.
