Funeral services for Ernesto Garcia, 51, who died Wednesday at his home will be conducted at 10 a.m Friday from our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Victorin Bachus officiating. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today from Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Juan Montoya officiating. Interment will be in the Texico cemetery under the direction of Muffley Funeral Home.

Mr. Garcia was born Oct. 21, 1929 in Estacado, Texas and had been a resident of Clovis since 1934. He was a retired construction laborer and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Freddie Garcia of Albuquerque and Orlando Garcia of Santa Rosa; four daughters, Diana, Kathy, Mary Ester and Salome; nine sisters, Josie Alires of Albuquerque, Flora Gonzales of Texico, Mariana Chaves, Adelina Trujillo, Tere Sanchez, Mary Armijo, Dora Sadoval, Lupe Doran and Erlinda Marques all of Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Felix Marquez, Timmy Marquez, Andy Sandoval, Archie Sanchez, Chris Sanchez and Tommid Sandoval.
