TEXICO, N.M. - Floripa "Flora" Gonzales, 79, died Monday, July 3, 2006, in Lubbock, Texas.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will follow in Texico Cemetery by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
Mrs. Gonzales was born Nov. 8, 1926, to Salome and Victoria Lucero Garcia in Estacado, Texas. She married Abenicio Arturo Gonzales on Jan. 7, 1946, in Clovis.
Survivors include her husband; and 11 children, Gloria Martinez of Santa Fe, Dora Hutchens of Westminster, Colo., Susanne Guerra of Arvada, Colo., Celso Gonzales of Buckley, Wash., Beatrice Treece and Bernadette Gonzales, both of Texico, Roman Gonzales of Clovis, Ricky Gonzales of Amarillo, Texas, Victoria Arcilla of Colorado Springs, Colo., Stella Ford, Packwaukee, Wis., and Sonia Gonzales of Big Spring, Texas; two sisters, Mela Armijo and Lupe Duran, both of Clovis; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
