Eliza Ann Anderson died at the home of her son, William S. Anderson on August 12, 1883, aged 73 years. She was a native of Tennessee. Her father, Bro. Pace moved to Pickens Co., Alabama when she was a child and remained there until she married in 1825. In 1840 they moved to Lauderdale County, Mississippi where she remained until her death. She was the mother of fifteen children, eight now living. She had been a widow for the last 20 years.
