Miss Martha Anderson, aged 90, died at her home four miles east of Chunky Sunday morning.
Known to her friends as "Aunt Patsy", Miss Anderson is the last of one of the oldest families in Newton County, her father having been one of the first settlers in that county.
She is survived by two nephews, E. A. Anderson and C. H. Anderson; four nieces, Medames J.H. Taylor, C.H. Luby, Meridian; C.K. Strange, Enterprise and F.M. Knight, Hattiesburg.
Funeral services were held from Stinson Cemetery Monday at 11 a.m., the Revs. R.W. Sumrall and C.Griffin officiating. James F. Webb in charge.
