EARLY RESIDENT OF HOOPER PASSES AWAY---Robert H. Cox, resident of Hooper for 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at the family residence following a three days' illness of heart disease.

He was born in London, June 25 1854, and came to the United States with his parents in 1863. After residing for five years in Idaho, He came to Hooper. He married Miss Terza D. Fisk in Salt Lake in the September of 1876. Mr. Cox was a member of the LDS church and also a member of the 141 quorum of Seventies.

He is survived by a widow and the following children, Mrs. Bertha Peterson of Ogden; Mrs. Pearl Stocker of Syracuse; Levi A Cox of Hooper; Mrs. Vera Bramwell of Ogden; Mrs. T Cole of Clearfield; Zelpha Cox of Hooper. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, one brother, Levi A Cox of Shelly, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Cox Parker, Mrs. Mary Cox Fowers and Mrs. Susan Cox Fowers of Hooper.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday in the Hooper meetinghouse. Bishop James R. Beus will officiate. Flowers left at the Lindquist Funeral chapel until 10 o'clock will be taken to the home. Interment will be in the Hooper cemetery.
