Hays -- Ann C. Dreiling, 82, died April 27, 2004 at Hays Good Samaritan Center, Hays. She was born Nov. 7, 1921 at Ness City, the daughter of John J. and Margaret Schoenberger Lang.

A resident of Hays since 1964, she had worked at Hadley Hospital, Hays, in housekeeping for 15 years. She belonged to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.

On Oct. 22, 1945 she married Ed. D. Dreiling at Hays. He died Aug. 22, 1980.

Survivors include four sons, Leon, Florissant, Colo., LeRoy, Salina, Roger, Lawrence, and Brian, Hays; a daughter, Carol Groen, Hays; a brother, Francis Lang, Scottsdale, Ariz.; four sisters, Lorine Uttecht, Yuba City, Calif., Pauline Doefler, Lindsborg, Rita Weigel and Joann Brown, both of Hays; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday, both at the mortuary. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hays.

Memorials may be sent to the Hays Medical Center Foundation or for Masses, both in care of the mortuary.
