Mr. Gray was born Feb. 25, 1896 in Delaware County to George and Anna (Moore) Gray. His marriage was on April 8, 1917 in Gas City to Katherine Freeman, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard Gray, Lagro, and Jareld Gray, Huntington; two brothers, Raymond Gray, Grand Rapids, MI, and Forrest Gray, Andrews; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Fisher, Roann, and Mrs. Ada Hennessey, Andrews; 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. A son, daughter, and a grandson are deceased.
Services were held Saturday at Deal Funeral Home, Andrews, with Rev. Lewis E. Thomas officiating. Pallbearers were his grandsons: Dennis Gray, Rick Gray, Larry Gray, Bob Gray, Don Gray, and David Scott. Honorary pallbearers were Tom Gray and Dan Gray.
