Joseph Elonzo Martin of Culp, Arkansas was born January 29, 1873 and passed away November 3, 1961 at the age of 88 yrs. 20 mons. and five days.
His wife preceded him in death four years ago. He is survived by nine children, three daughters, Mrs. Evalena Perry of Gassville, Ark., Mrs. Cardia Hannah of California and Mrs. Eula Case of Mammoth Spring; five sons, Noel of Mammoth Spring, Kerby of Thayer, Mo., Paul of Calif., Clyde of Indiana, Wilbert of West Plains and Delmar of Indiana; two brothers W. C. Martin and Joel both of Culp; two sisters, Reatha Roarie of Calif., and Donella Hannah of Little Rock, thirty-five grandchildren and forty-six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday Nov. 6th at Table Rock Church with Rev. Bontreiger and Rev. Martin officiating. Burial was made in Table Rock Cemetery under direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
