Sylmar Greene Jessop, 85, of Logan, died on Wednesday, February 28, 1990 at Sunshine Terrace Nursing Home.


He was born November 25, 1904 in Millville, Utah, a son of Joseph Smith and Martha Moore Yeates Jessop.


He married Ina Jane Dahle on October 17, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple. She died on October 21, 1984.


Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, S. Willard and Elaine Jessop, of Lewiston; S. Gordon and Marianne Jessop, of Orem; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and David Seeholzer, of Monticello, Wisconsin; one brother, Fred Jessop, of Hilldale, Utah; one sister, Allie Lloyd, of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 5, 1990 at 11 a.m. in the Logan Fifteenth Ward Chapel (125 West 600 South), with Bishop Allen Thorne conducting. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and at the Church one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
