WENATCHEE _ Paul J. Werner, 82, a longtime Wenatchee resident, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1992, in Washoe Medical Center at Reno, Nev.

He was born Dec. 1, 1909, to John and Eva (Pflugrath) Werner at Odessa. He received his early education at Odessa and graduated from high school at Leavenworth.

Mr. Werner married Dorothy C. Widney on June 2, 1934, at Seattle. They lived for several years at Rock Island and then moved to Wenatchee.

He had worked as a hydro operator for the Wenatchee PUD for 31 years, retiring in 1972.

They also spent time at a second home at California.

Survivors include his wife, at home; his daughter, Carolyn Bruguier of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; a grandson, Tom Bruguier of Santa Clara, Calif.; a brother, Herman of Seattle; and four sisters, Gussie Werner of Wenatchee, Dorothy Brender of Snohomish, Beatrice Colvin of Leavenworth and Bernice Smith of Peshastin. He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
