WENATCHEE - Augustina Christina Wilhelmina "Gussie" Werner, 96, Wenatchee, died Thursday, April 13, 1995, in Colonial Vista Convalescent Center.
She was born Aug. 22, 1898, in Temple, Texas, to John and Fredricka (Miller) Werner. The family lived in Temple until 1903, when they moved to Odessa. They moved to the Dryden area in 1919. She later moved to Seattle and then to Spokane. She was employed at the Deaconess Hospital in Spokane until her retirement. She moved to Wenatchee in 1988 to be near her family.
Survivors include a brother, Herman, Seattle; and three sisters, Beatrice Colvin of Leavenworth, Bernice Smith of Peshastin and Dorothy Brender of Snohomish. She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
