SOUTHPORT - Orene Price Bowmer, 75, died Thursday morning in Ocean Trail Convalescent Home. She was the widow of the late H. T Bowmer.
Surviving are one son, J. W. Smith of Boiling Spring Lakes; one daughter, Olive Chippman of Staten Island, N Y.; four step-sons, Thomas S. Bowmer of Southport, Robert A. Bowmer of Lutz, Fla., John F. Bowmer of Sacremento, Calif., and H. T. Bowmer Jr. of Houston, Texas; one step-daughter, Daisy Wallen of Coburn, Va.; one sister. Alther Smith of Southport; four brothers, B. H. Price of Beaufort, W. K. Price of Viola, Del., W. W. Price of Woodstown, N.J. and Leroy Price of Southport.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Saturday at the Southport Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryan Dosher officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Gilbert's Funeral Home Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The family will be at the home of J. W. Smith at 19 South Shore Drive in Boiling Spring Lakes.
