David Kinghorn, born at Lennoxtown, Campsie, on 24th April 1821, Married to Margaret Reid, at Govan, Glasgow, on 22d November 1848 by the Rev'd James Kay, Minister of the United Presbyterian Church, Govan.

Mrs Kinghorn, (Margaret Reid) born 15th September 1827, died at 12 Bute Gardens, Hillhead, Glasgow, on 29th January 1889 aged 61 years and 4 months; and was interred in the Southern Necropolis (Central Division) Glasgow.

David Kinghorn, Shipbuilder, died at No 1 Hillsborough Square, Hillhead, Glasgow, on 30th April 1891, aged 70 years, and was interred beside his wife in Southern Necropolis
