Funeral services for William L. BALDWIN, 80, retired farmer of the Burton community, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Burton church. Rev. Dale HAMILTON will officiate and burial will be in the Nichols cemetery. Mr. Baldwin died at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bessie VOORHEES, 600 Fulton avenue, this city. Death resulted from a heart attack. However, he had been in failing health for the past 18 months. He was born Nov. 4, 1873, in Fulton county to George and Eliza (HOLLOWAY) BALDWIN. On July 27, 1898, he was married to Emma J. WALTERS, who preceded him in death in July, 1953. Mr. Baldwin was a retired farmer. Survivors are four children: Mrs. Bessie VOORHEES, Mrs. Berniece HENDERSON, both of Rochester; Mrs. Ethel WILLIAMS and William J. BALDWIN, both of South Bend; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Norman [BALDWIN], Rochester; Homer [BALDWIN], Mishawaka; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah HURSH, Mishawaka; Mrs. Ruth KOEHLER, of Michigan; Mrs. Mollie DULMATCH, South Bend and Mrs. Ella KESSELL, Massillon, Ohio. Four children preceded him in death. The body rests at Foster funeral home where friends may call.
