Daughter of the late Wade Lucian Carter and Isabel Norris. She was a retired sales representative from Sprint with 44 years of service. She attended Clinton Pentecostal Holiness Church. A sister, Annie Lee Carter Balance, preceded her in death. She was surived by three sisters, Gladys Carter Williamson, Lois Hopkins and Margaret Evelyn Carter; ten nieces and nephews; and an extended family of relatives. Her funeral was held May 11, 2007, with The Rev. William Tew and her Sunday School teacher, Mr. Alfredo DiPinto, officiating.
