Mr. Charles H. "Doc" Baccus, age 93 of Kerrville, Texas passed away Friday, December 6, 1996 in a Kerrville hospital. He was born June 18, 1903 in Hollis, Oklahoma and had been a Kerrville resident for 29 years, formerly residing in Ozona, Texas. He was a retired assembler for General Electric and had been employed by the railroad. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He married Jessie Conklin on April 14, 1972 in Kerrville. Survivors are: Wife, Jesse Baccus of Kerrville, three daughters, Betty McMullen of Coosbay, Oregon; Colyn Sharp and Yvonne Thomas, both of California; son, Charles H. Baccus, Jr. of San Jose, California; two sisters, Bertha Hooks of Disney, Oklahoma; and Lillian Hill of Hollis, Oklahoma; brother, Raymond Earl of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; step-children, Ben Conklin of Mountain Air, New Mexico; Wilburn Conklin of Kettle Falls, Washington; Carl Conklin, of Nacogdoches, Texas; Lenora Godwin of Kerrville, Texas and numerous grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Baccus will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Foster officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ozona, Texas. Pallbearers will be Clyde Reed, Robert Billingsly, Bob Boise, Carl Conklin, Shannon Conklin and Ray Booth. Funeral arrangments are under the direction of GRIMES FUNERAL CHAPELS OF KERRVILLE.
