MOORESBORO Mr. William Robert Blanton, 84, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at home.

Born in Cleveland County, he was a son of William Clifton and Cora Royster Blanton.

He retired from J & C Dyeing and was a member of Goodes Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vennie Bingham Blanton.
