Nancy was enrolled as a freshman at Park College in Parkville Missouri. From old letters, we know that she became ill about 3 weeks before she died. Her brother was also a student at Park and was taking care of Nancy the best he could. Her father made the 180 mile trip from Springfield to Parkville to be with her; she died a day or two after he arrived.
Park College
....George S Park was founder of Parkville MO and Park College. Park College was initially a school aimed at preparing students for missionary life for the Presbyterian Church. George Park is buried on the Park College plot in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Parkville....
Family notes say Nancy was buried in St Joseph Cemetery. I have not found her burial place.
Nancy, just know your family was very proud of you.
