William McKerall, 81, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home in Chalk Bluff. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at his residence. Rev. C. A. Withrow and Rev. Odell Jameson officiating, burial in Moore cemetery. Compton's in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Robert McBride, Van Peters, J. L. Herbelin, Douglas Sedberry Jr., Harry Cowan and Lacy Robinson.

He is survived by his widow, Annie Smith McKerall; five daughters, Mrs. Alice O'Connell of Waco, Mrs. Nannie Rogers of Reno, Nev., Mrs. Mae Beaty of Rodessa, La., Mrs. Cynthia Yowell and Mrs. Ada Carter, both of Chalk Bluff; four sons, Frank of Abilene, J. W. of Delano, Calif., Burney of Fort Worth and Arthur of Chalk Bluff; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Bennett and Mrs. Daisy Okino, both of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Wilson McKerall of Dinauba, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. McKerall was born Oct. 26, 1859 in McLennan County. He had resided at the same place all of his life.
