Emma V. Carlson 76, of Sandwich formerly of Plano, IL passed away at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion, Sandwich on February 5, 2009.

She was born on January 29, 1932 in rural Sandwich to the late Carl and Anna Carlson. She enjoyed watching TV game shows and Soaps. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and gardening.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Carlson of Plano and Doris (Ralph) Carlson of Sandwich; a brother, Arnold (Catherine) Carlson of Plano; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Herman, Oscar, Arthur, Russell and Clarence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, Sandwich Chapel, with Rev. Steve Tetrick officiating. Private interment will follow at Little Rock TWP Cemetery Plano. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
