Zina M. Strunk of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, February 6, 1999, at her son's residence. Born on December 11, 1918, in Wayne County, KY, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Allie (Godsey) Hughes. She married Elmer Strunk St. in February, 1936, and he died in 1991.

Surviving are three sons, Sam and Elmer "Coon" Strunk, both of Bedford, IN, and Rick Strunk of Oolitic, IN; two daughters, Teresa Webb and Donna Faye Stigall, both of Bedford, IN; one brother, Bobby Hughes of Texas; three sisters, Gladys Leach of Texas, Eva Strunk of Bedford, IN, and Elizabeth Turner of Springville, IN; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Lloyd Jr., Ronnie, and Richard Hughes; two sisters, Catherine Osborne and Jean Magnus; and one great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Hilltop Pentecostal Church.

Services for Zina Strunk will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Hill Cemetery.
