Hollis and Stringer researchers have not found a gravesite for George Hollis.
The only documentation we have of George is the listing of his birth and death in her mother's bible. In documenting the migrations of the Hollis family through births, deaths, marriages, land transactions and census records, we agree that George died while the family was living in Harrison Co., TX. We also agree that the most likely place for George to have been buried would be with his grandparents, William and Rutha Hollis, in the Bluff Springs Cemetery.
And so, we place George here so he will be forever remembered by future researchers of the Hollis line.
