Hollis and Stringer researchers have not found a gravesite for Martha E. Hollis. The only documentation we have of Martha is the listing of her birth and death in her mother's bible.
In documenting the migrations of the Hollis family through births, deaths, marriages, land transactions and census records, we agree that Martha died while the family was living in Harrison Co., TX. We also agree that the most likely place for Martha to have been buried would be with her grandparents, William and Rutha Hollis, in the Bluff Springs Cemetery.
And so, we place Martha here so she will be forever remembered by future researchers of the Hollis line.
