EDWARD GRASS TAKEN BY DEATH
Edward Eugene Grass, 55, of 805 L St. S.E., farmer and resident of Auburn for two years, died Wednesday, January 20, in a Seattle hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were Saturday afternoon in the Price Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Cartwright, First Free Methodist Church, officiating and burial was in the Auburn Cemetery.

Mr. Grass was born in Page, Nebraska, November 19, 1904, where he lived for most of his life. He moved to Auburn in September, 1957, from Grove Springs, Mo. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Grass; two sons, Lawrence and Robert, both of Auburn; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Strum of Sioux Falls, S. D., Mrs. Ruth Davis of Tekamah, Nebraska, Miss Shirley Grass of the home; his mother, Mrs. Grace Grass of Bend, Oregon; five brothers, Arthur of Page, Nebraska, Elton of Roseburg, Oregon, Harold of El Cajon, Calif., Arnold of Takamah, Nebraska, Maurice of Cloverdale, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Darlene Cunningham of York, Nebraska, Mrs. Constance Hartford, of Bend, Oregon, Mrs Shirley Stewart of Vancouver, Wash., and four grandchidren.
