He was born in Olney May 1, 1879, and had made his home in Kansas for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Maggie, two daughters, Mrs. Lester Chansler of Holyrood, Kansas, and Mrs. C. E. Coughlin at home, two sons, Merle Beck of Portland, Oregon, and Paul Sidnesy Beck, Jr., of Johnson county, Kansas. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Gerber of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Bertha Craig and Mrs. Clara Craig, both of Olney and one brother, Fred Beck of Olney.
Funeral services were held July 6 at Amos Chapel, Shawnee, Kansas with burial in Maple Hill cemetery there.
Those attending from Olney were sisters Mrs. Bertha Craig and Mrs. Clara Craig, brother Fred Beck, Rolla E. Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Ahlfield.
