Mrs. Bertha Mae Craig, 88, of East South Avenue passed away yesterday at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
A lifelong resident of the county, Mrs. Craig was born the daughter of John Beck and Elizabeth Sager Beck. She was united in marriage to Ezra Ward Craig on December 25, 1900 and he preceded her in death April 25, 1948.
She was a long and faithful member of the Olney Church of Christ.
She leaves four children, Mrs. Ruth Boatman, Mrs. Lela Von Almen, Mrs. Edna Howell, and Elvin Craig. There are 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Clara Craig.
She is preceded by her husband, and two sons, Loren and Elmer.
Funeral services were held in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with Bro. William Read and Bro. Lyle Berry officiating.
Interment was in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
