The funeral of Mrs. Nancy Mott, who died of cancer of the stomach, was held Wednesday afternoon from the Vernal First Ward chapel. Acting Bishop John N. Davis had charge of the services. A male quartette furnished the singing and consoling remarks were made by Elder Brigham Castro, recently of Salina, Utah, a life long friend of the deceased, and Bishop J. N. Davis. The opening prayer was offered by Patriarch Sowards and the benediction by Henry Williams.
