Mary Whittaker, 84, of Brookville, Indiana passed away on October 26, 2007 at Brookville Healthcare.

She was born on March 28, 1923 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Lory and Leora (Sweezy) Hankins, both deceased. She married Paul Whittaker in September 1938 and he preceded her in death in January 1965.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Rushville most of her life.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue (Robert) Puckett of Connersville and Judy Blake of Brookville; two sons, Mark Whittaker (Wanda) of Brookville and Steve Whittaker of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons; two daughters; several brothers and sisters and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 28 at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 29 at the mortuary with Jim Webster officiating. Burial will follow in the East Hill Cemetery in Rushville, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
