Our community regretted to learn of the sudden death of Harry W. Raine last Tuesday. He was 73. Services and interment were held Thursday in Wamego. Harry was a former neighbor in the Kaw community.
We extend our sympathy to his widow, Florence; sons, Harold and Francis Lloyd, and other relatives.

WAMEGO- Harry Watson Raine, 73, of Wamego, died Tuesday at his home.
He was born Nov.30, 1890, in Wabaunsee County, KS, and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Wamego Methodist Church, Wamego Masonic Lodge No. 75, the Kaw Valley Chapter No. 53, the Wamego Chapter No. 76, of the Order of Eastern Star, and the Wamego Past Matrons and Patrons Club.
He is survived by his wife, Florence, of the home; two sons, Francis Raine of Belvue, and Harold E. Raine, Wamego; a half-brother, Herbert Ulrich, 1704 Lower Silver Lake Road, Topeka; a half-sister, Mrs. Bertha Chase, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Stewart Memorial Chapel in Wamego. Burial will be in Wamego City Cemetery.
