Funeral Services Tuesday
For De Soto Resident
Mrs Alta Craig, 70 of De Soto, died Sunday in Holden Hospital in Carbondale after an illness of six weeks.
She was born in Elkville in 1888.
The former Alta Teabeau, she was married in 1906 to Fred Craig, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert.
Mrs Craig was a member of the Mt Calvary Lutheran Church.
Friends may call at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro until noon Tuesday when the body will be transferred to the Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in De Soto for funeral services at 2 p.m. The Rev William West will officiate. Burial will be in Elkville City Cemetery.
