Charles W. Chambers was my maternal g uncle. He died of Typhoid Fever at the age of 14 while living in an orphange in Mercer, Pa. His father, Theophilus C. Chambers (T.C) was in the Civil War with the 83rd Pennsylvania Volunteers, Company I. He survived nearly a year at Andersonville POW prison (he also had a life long disability from a gun shot wound to his left thigh).
