Mrs. Frances Nevinski

A 95-year-old resident of the town of Franzen (Marathon county), Mrs. Frances Nevinski, died at her home Thursday.
Mrs. Nevinski had lived in the towns of Alban and Sharon in Portage county until moving to Franzen 25 years ago.
She is survived by more that 250 direct descendants.
Born in Poland on Feb. 2, 1860, she came to the United States at the age of 19 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lascinski.
The family settled in New York, and she was married there to Matthew Felix. Several years later they came to Wisconsin, settling in Alban.
Mr. Felix later died, and his wife was remarried to Joseph Stroik. They farmed in the town of Sharon until Mr. Stroik's death in 1918.
Five years later she married Nick Nevinski, who died 25 years ago. Since her last marriage, she had lived in Franzen.
Mrs. Nevinski is survived by three daughters. Mrs. Frank Goskowicz, Franzen, Mrs. Anton Wierzba, town of Bevent, and Mrs. Frank Check, South Milwaukee; three sons, Geroge Felix, Bessemeer, Mich., Michael Stroik, 700 Sixth avenue, and Julius Stroik, Shawano; 55 grandchildren, 180 great-grandchildren, and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
Among those preceding her in death was a daughter.
Funeral services will by held Monday at 9 a. m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Galloway, with burial taking place in the spring in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after Saturday noon at the Dzikoski funeral home here, and after Sunday noon at the Frank Goskowicz home in Franzen.
The rosary will be said Saturday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Goskowicz residence.
