William Edmond Browder is the son of Edmund and Sarah Browder. William married Martha "Mattie" A. Fite on March 4, 1890, they had ten known children: Lela Bell Browder, Beulah Nell Browder, Thomas Clifton Browder, Maud Ella Browder, Jenetta Elizabeth Browder, Anna Lynn Browder, Mabel Emma Browder, Clarence William Browder, Clyde Henderson Browder and Neil Davis "Pat" Browder.

BROWDER – WILLIAM (SHORTY), 75, died at 4 p.m. Monday in the Sweetwater (Tenn.) Hospital. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Homer Bright, Mrs. Robert Sherlin, Mrs. Herman Pardue, Mrs. Thomas Langley, all of Sweetwater; Mrs. Claude Henderson, Chattanooga; three sons, Clyde, Clarence, and Neal (Pat) Browder, Sweetwater. Funeral will be conducted Thursday, at 2:30 p.m., from Sweetwater Methodist Church by the pastor, Rev. B. H. Greene. Interment in West View Cemetery. The body is at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sherlin. J.S. Kyker and Sons in charge of arrangements.
