Anna Lynn Browder is the daughter of William Edmond and Martha Fite Browder. Anna married John Robert Sherlin, they had two known children: Joe Hardin Sherlin and Robert Lynn Sherlin.

Sherlin – Anna Lynn Browder, 86, of Williams Street, Sweetwater, Tenn., died Thursday in a nursing home there. Owner and operator of a grocery store in the Sweetwater area for many years, she was a member of Sweetwater United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Mamie Fite Browder; husband, John R. Sherlin; and a son, Robert L. Sherlin. Survivors include a son, Joe H. Sherlin, Sweetwater; sister, Mabel Langley, Rossville; brother, Clyde Browder, Sweetwater; six grandchildren, Walter Sherlin, Raleigh, N.C., Judy Shope, Janie Richesin, and Joe H. Sherlin Jr., all of Sweetwater, Cindy Loomis, Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Mike Sherlin, Manassas, Va.; nine great grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Riley Huffstetler officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sweetwater Education Foundation, P.O. Box 231, Sweetwater, 37874; Sweetwater United Methodist Church, 501 Church St., Sweetwater; or a favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater.
