Funeral services for William Harold Black, 64, of Decatur Route Three were conducted Friday, November 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Bolling officiating.

Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Black died Wednesday, November 6, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. He was retired from Amoco Chemical Company in Decatur.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Scott Black of Decatur Route Three; two sons, William Harold Black, Jr., of Danville and John Black of Decatur; six daughters, Cherie Fuller, Donna Dutton and Tara Black, all of Decatur; Debbie Riggins and Tina Lindsey, both of Danville, and Amy Phillips of Athens; two brothers, Vernon Tucker and Louis Tucker of Anniston; and one sister, Elizabeth Black of Huntsville; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Wayne Reed, Wayne Lovell, Bob Black, Eddie Lee Dotson, Wayne Bowling and Rickey Bowling.
