Funeral services for Edward Gerardot, 96, who died at 12:35 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of a son, Joseph Gerardot, five miles southest of New Haven, will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the son's mone, and 9 o'clock at St. Louis' Catholic church at Besancon, Rev. Joseph Hesson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body has been taken to the home from the Ternet & Holer funeral home in New Haven.
Mr. Gerardot was a lifelong resident of Jefferson township, and was a charter member of St. Louis' church. His wife, Adaline, died in 1937. Survivors include six sons, Anthony, Casmere, Joseph and Albert of Jefferson township, August of this city and Frank Gerardot of Monroeville; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah
Girardot of Jefferson township and Mrs. Emma Wagner of Decatur; 37 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granchild.
