Mrs. Frank Gerardot Dies Tues., June 21
Mrs. Frank Gerardot, who has been ill for some time with heart trouble, died at her home at Prudenyille Tuesday afternoon, June 21.
Eliza Philena Gerardot was born November 26, 1879. In 1897 she married Daniel Roberts, who preceded her in death 18 years ago. On July 17, 1923, she was married to Frank Gerardot, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and has lived here for the past five years.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Emmett Sullivan and Leonard and Franklin Roberts, all of Prudenville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Paul Scott of Monroeville, Ind., and Mrs. Marshall Sullivan of Prudenville; one step-son, Russell Gerardot, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Henry Garver, of Gladwin; two brothers, Jesse and Hyson Thomas, of Prudenville; and three grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the home Friday afternoon, conducted by Elder Burt of the Latter Day Saints church, Burial took place in the Highland cemetery at Gladwin.
Out-of-town people attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thomas of Flo Kane of New Haven, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gerardot, Mrs. Sarah Gerardot of Monroeville, lnd., Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gerardot, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gerardot, Mr. and Mrs. August Gerardot, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gerardot, Mrs. C. Brandin and son Clifford and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gerardot, all of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Koteskey of Boyne City. Gladwin County Record dated 7-6/1938
