Funeral services for Mrs.Ruby Deal Bryant,81,of Rt.1 Danville,who died Tuesday,December 17,1985 in the Coliseum Park Hospital were held Friday at 3 P.M. in the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Cecil Darity and Elder Gary Hall officiating.Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs.Bryant was born in Bullock County,the daughter of the late Billy and Florene Smith Bryant,the widow of the late Elder Elzie D.Bryant.She was a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Her survivors include 7 sons,Wallace NeSmith,Billy NeSmith,Franklin Bryant all of Danville,Hezekiah Bryant of Eastman,E.D.Bryant,Jr. of Metter,Samuel Bryant of Statesboro and Daniel Bryant of Jeffersonville.2 Step-sons:Joseph Bryant of Jeffersonville,and Aaron Bryant of Danville.3 Step-daughters:Mary Guidry of Warner Robins,Pauline Phillips of Danville,and Reaunette Ingram of Macon.1 Brother:Harvey Deal of Statesboro.5 Sisters:Essie Caroll of Ft.Lauderdale,Florida,Gertrude McElheney of Vidilla,Mamie Kitchens and Myrtle Benson both of Langley,South Carolina and Erma Kennedy of Savannah.38 grandchildren,38 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were:Elder Kermit Nobles,Elder Richard Halbewachs,Elder R.E.Nobles,Elder Tommy Darity,Elder Peter Bryant,Elder Frank King and Elder Tommy Sarber.
Honorary pallbearers were Ministers and their wives.
Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
