LANGLEY — Mamie Deal Kitchings died Thursday, Dec. 7, 1989, in the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta. Mrs. Kitchings, 83, resided on Saddlehorse Road. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday in Langley Church of God with the Revs. Charles Driggers and N.M. Murphy officiating. Burial is to be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Kitchings was a native of Statesboro, Ga. He was a member of Langley Church of God. Surviving are two daughters, Regina Benson, Langley, and Cupidean Palermo, Beech Island; three sisters, Essie Carrole, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Myrtle Benson, Gloverville, and Erma Kennedy, Savannah, Ga.; a brother, Harvey Deal, Statesboro; and two grandsons. Pallbearers are to be Carlton Ashley, Paul Williams, H.A. Black, Sam Benson, Gene Benson and Richie Proctor.
