MRS. PEARL MALPASS
Mrs. Pearl Alderman Malpass, former resident of the Catherine Kennedy Home died Wednesday morning at Cornelia Nixon David Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born in Brunswick County, N.C., April 29, 1897, the daughter of the late Isaac Newton and Lola Robbins Alderman.
Mrs. Malpass was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was associated with the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad for a number of years.
Surviving are her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Robbins and Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Stevens, all of Wilmington, and H. L. Robbins of Winnabow, and her sister-in-law, Mrs T. C. Robbins of Raleigh.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Andrews Mortuary Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. by the Rev. D. E. Parkerson. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be ** Johnson, Jr., Jerry R. Robbins, J. R. Benson, Jr., A. G. Robbins, W. H. Brown, and Earl Wishard.
