Margaret was the daughter of John HENRICKS Sr. (d. 1816 in Perry Co., Ohio) and Elizabeth SNIDER (1770-1826). She married Solomon HOFFERT on April 24, 1810, in Muskingum Co., Ohio. Ten children were born to the union: Elizabeth, Catharine, Samuel, Elias, Mary, Adam, Solomon, Absolom, Philemon, and Christina. All ten reached adulthood and had children themselves.
