PRINCETON, Ky.--Services for Eura Joyce, 79, of Princeton will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Morgan's Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Liberty Church Cemetery in Caldwell County with military rites.
Mr. Joyce died at 11:10 p.m. Monday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Joyce served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Shoshone during World War II and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Caldwell County.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Margaret Wynn Joyce; three sons, Roger Joyce of Princeton, James Joyce of Charlestown, Ind., and Leslie Joyce of Caldwell County; one brother, Joe Joyce of Trigg County; two sisters, Clara Smith and Pansy Foree, both of Trigg County; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. His parents were Bailey and Ruby Irene Shaw Joyce.
