Mary N. Hester, 93, Rushville, died Sunday, Mar. 29, 1992 at Miller's Merry Manor, Rushville. Born Sept. 25, 1898, in Arlington, she was the daughter of J. Walter and Amanda (Gordon) Northam. She married Everett W. "Scratchie" Hester on Aug. 17, 1918. He preceded her in death April 28, 1975. She was a member of the Blue River Wesleyan Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Merlin (Jane) Asplin, Lake Ann, Mich.; and a son, Philip Hester, Loveland, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death. Services at the Blue River Wesleyan Church, in Rush County, calling at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with burial at the Blue River Cemetery.
