The son of my ancestor, LT. FRANCIS PEABODY and his first wife, Lydia, he married (1) Bethia Bridges, daughter of Edmund Bridge on October 26, 1668, and (2) Mary Wheeler on January 4, 1714/15 at Beverly, Mass. They resided in Boxford and he was a wheelwright and freeman in 1677. His will proved on April 3, 1722 made bequests to his wife, Mary, son Jonathan, daughters - Sarah Jonson, Bethia Peabody, Lydia Byxbe and Alice Hoult, and to grandson, Moses Peabody, son of his deceased son, Samuel.
