He was born Jan. 27, 1916, in Archer, to Elisha Freeman Grover and Emma Marie Erickson Grover. He attended schools in Lyman and Archer.
On Feb. 4, 1938, he married Erma Arvella Boulter in Idaho Falls. He worked as a potato inspector in Hamer, Mudlake and California. He also farmed in the Archer and LaBelle areas for 10 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints and served as a home teacher, superintendent in Sunday school and served in the young men's organization. Mark called square dancing
in Archer, Pocatello and Missoula, Mont. He enjoyed relaxing, working with cows, fishing, country music and gardening.
He is survived by his children, Marilyn Glenn of Idaho Falls, Elna (Larry) Guymon and Monte (LuAnn) Grover, both of Rigby, and DeMar (Valerie) Grover of Sunnydell; a brother, Lavar (Sharon) Grover of Eagle; 14 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Erma; a son, Bradley Grover; four sisters; five brothers; two grandsons; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the Archer LDS church with Bishop Wally Bennett conducting. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday, both at the church.
